Please note we are NOT seeking out of state candidates nor those who cannot work on-site in our McDonough office as needed.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing using Ceridian Dayforce software. This role requires a solid understanding of payroll practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Payroll Processing: Administer accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for team members, ensuring compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations.
- Ceridian Dayforce System Management: Utilize Ceridian Dayforce payroll software to process payroll transactions, maintain team member records, and generate reports. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues as needed.
- Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and update team member information, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions in the Ceridian Dayforce system.
- Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities comply with applicable laws and regulations, including tax setup, tax withholdings, benefits administration, and garnishments.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll reports, such as earnings, deductions, and tax reports. Provide insights and recommendations based on report data.
- Team Member Support: Respond to team member inquiries regarding payroll discrepancies, deductions, and benefits. Assist team members with timekeeping and payroll-related issues.
- Audit and Reconciliation: Perform regular audits of payroll data and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with accounting to resolve any payroll-related issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and documentation. Prepare and file required reports and documents for compliance purposes.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of the HR system, payroll procedures and systems.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration, with hands-on experience using Ceridian Dayforce software.
- Skills:
- Proficient in Ceridian Dayforce software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
